When I first began following the Trim Healthy Mama plan, I was disappointed to learn that I could not have my favorite coffee sweeteners. I love to have a cup of coffee in the morning with a healthy splash of flavored creamer and sugar. I knew I would have to find a way to still enjoy my morning coffee and stay on plan. I experimented with different ingredients and I think I have come up with my favorite. It is so simple, yet so delicious! Delicious Coffee for Trim Healthy Mamas Just pour 1 cup of your favorite brewed coffee, then add 1 packet of Truvia and 1T unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir until dissolved. Then add 1T of unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk, whichever you have on hand. Stir and enjoy! These ingredients give the coffee just a bit of flavor without overwhelming the coffee. Add more or less to your liking, feel free to experiment until you find one you like. You shouldn’t feel like you have to give up your coffee or learn to drink it black(Eww!) to stay on plan.
