3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops – Freezer Recipe

In February I wrote a blog post about Freezer meals for the Slow Cooker on Habits for a Happy Home. Since beginning the habit of preparing freezer meals I have found many different recipes to try and I would like to share some of them with you.

This recipe is called 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops.  It is a very odd combination and I was unsure about it when I read the ingredients, but the flavor is not bad at all.

Pork chops

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup ketchup

Place enough pork chops to feed your family into a gallon size freezer bag, for us that was 5 chops about 1/2″ thick.  Mix cream soup and ketchup in a bowl.  Pour the mixture into the freezer bag over the pork chops. Lay the bag flat and freeze. That’s it…3 ingredients!

The night before, thaw the chops in the refrigerator.  Pour contents of bag into slow cooker and cook chops in the on low for 6-8 hours depending on the thickness of your chops.  Serve them with green beans, potatoes, Tricia’s Slow Cooker Applesauce, and dinner rolls.

My family gave this recipe 3/5, that means 3 out of 5 of us would want it again.  My husband, oldest boy(11), and youngest boy(6) liked them. I thought they were okay. My picky eater did not like them at all, he is a tough one to please!
