Ron Reagan Jr.

I have been putting off posting on this because I don’t want this blog to become overly political(even though I sometimes am).

Recently Ron Reagan Jr., published a book entitled My Father at 100 and in it he wrote “Three years into his first term as president, I felt the first shivers of concern that something beyond mellowing was affecting my father.”  He was hinting or insinuating that President Reagan was already showing signs of Alzheimer’s while he was in office.  As is expected, the left and the mainstream media have taken off with this idea.   They are dissecting this idea on national news, doing all they can to dim the light of a great president!

Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed there are many rewards, if you disgrace yourself you can always write a book.

It saddens and angers me to see the left trying to diminish the things Ronald Reagan accomplished while in office, even still.  Reagan was a God-fearing man, one of integrity and loyalty, something that seems to be lost in politics these days.  Please people, focus on the issues of today and stop trying to discredit a man because you disagree with his politics.  As a country, we should be honoring him for all he accomplished.

We have many things to focus on in our country today and we should be looking to Reagan’s policies that brought us together in the 80’s.  Republican or Democrat, we all benefited from Reagan’s leadership, let us celebrate that and work to get back to be a God-fearing nation with many successes to be proud of!

There is no limit to what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit.

You said it, Heidi! I've been thinking the same thing. He did more good in his 8 years in office than most of the rest of the 20th century Presidents combined. We, as young adults just out of college, reaped the benefits…good, steady jobs, lower taxes, and a broader market for home ownership, to name just a few. Thank you, Mr. Reagan!
